And it blows people's minds, And it is kind of nice on a hot Summer day. Cycling is constantly increasing in popularity here in Sydney thanks to rising fuel prices and ever increasing traffic congestion. We don't have the beautiful bikepaths of Melbourne which run through parkland and along rivers but we live in hope that the urban planners will catch up with the population's desires some day. I have noticed that drivers here have become much more patient with cyclists. It has become quite rare to be abused or honked at. I think there is a powerful guilt factor at work. Increased awareness of global warming is making the humble cyclist a bit of an Eco-Hero.
