“A humble adornment, but, according to Boris Johnson in response to our inquiry, it’s the single most important accessory to cycling. Over to Boris: “When you’re cycling and you want to stop talking quickly because you’re about to hit the car in front, you need to put your mobile phone smoothly away in a fluid action, to ease from the breast pocket to the handlebars in one swift parabola of the wrist.”"
Maybe someone should send “Boris” a nice big “Hang up and drive!” t-shirt or something.
well…
around town
or
commuting
when commuting there are definitely tricks
leaving the lock and a pair of shoes at work
leaving a full change of clothes at work and using the local dry cleaner
going to a party or a club can be different
but
heading to work there can be some little things that lighten the load
fenders, chain guards, platform pedals, and racks…
along with a subtle pace can allow for street clothes
but
I like to break a sweat
so I tend to dress for cycling when on the bike
unless I am headed out for a drink
