I have been riding in Toronto with nothing more than a Campy bike hat on my head for many years accident-free (fingers crossed) My friend who wears a helmet has been hit three times. Maybe that’s why. Or maybe drivers just respect Campagnolo?

Won’t stop wearing a helmet myself. Further down in the article it states that cars gave more space to the rider when he wore a wig. Perhaps I’ll wear a helmet AND a wig. Hmmm… blonde, red, or brunnette? Since I live in Japan, blonde would definately get more attention.
