The Dutch and the Ugandans do it. Now Londoners can do it in style thanks to Charles Gordon, a designer, formerly on Savile Row, who is now making comfy cushions with well chosen stripes and colours.

Necessary if you are taking a friend to the Naked Bike Ride on 12th June. Washable.

Is it legal to take passengers on the back rack in the UK?

    Unfortunately not here in Oregon…

  1. It is open to interpretation:
    The Highway Code states:
“You MUST NOT carry a passenger unless your cycle has been built or adapted to carry one”
Clearly a child seat is an accepted adptation. Whether a sturdy Dutch-style rack and a comfy cushion is an acceptable adaptation is a moot point.

  2. Would be great to know when these will be available and if Charles is designing any other products?

  3. Hi charles, send me your new pics!! Hope your good and i,ll see you soon love Lesa xxx
