If you are dead or crippled, the question of who was to blame is academic.
That is what I usually remind myself when deciding how to progress through hazardous traffic.
Defensive riding has to be the way to survive in London. There will always be drivers blind to cyclists, motorcyclists and pedestrians.

Watch this, please. Ruby was run over by a lorry, on an off-road Sustrans trail, 200 metres from the nearest road.
