		<description>Please don&#039;t lump &#039;London Cyclists&#039; into some kind of stereotypical group. Only some cyclists behave in the manner you have described, not all. Just as SOME motorists drive too close to cyclists and don&#039;t use their mirrors, and just as SOME pedestrians don&#039;t even look when crossing a road and nearly get hit by cyclists.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I&#039;ve had to negotiate this very obstacle and it&#039;s a complete nightmare -  cyclists are put in a very dangerous position. We shouldn&#039;t have to dismount. Roadworks never ask motorists to get out of their cars and walk do they? :)</description>

I agree with you however that cyclists should show much more deference towards pedestrians.</description>
