The Christiania tricycle is the vehicle most sought after by Copenhagen thieves. Recently they have been resorting to sawing off trees to unshackle tricycles and whisk them off on a van. €1000 is the second hand value of a Christiania tricycle, and even the honest Danes often fall to the temptation of buying from shady “parents with overgrown children”.
