White Cube: As part of the re-opening of the refurbished Kunstsammlung Nordhrein-Westfalen am Grabbeplatz, Sarah Morris has been specially commissioned to produce a permanent work to adorn the northernmost terminal wall at Paul-Klee Platz. ‘Hornet’ (2010) is a new wall-based commission spanning twenty-six metres in length and consisting of hand-painted, high-gloss ceramic tiles measuring 30 x 30 cm each.
