Brooks B17 Special
The B17 is our flagship model, ideal for long distance spors touring, trekking and atb use. It has been on the market for over 100 years, being featured in as early as the 1898 catalogue . The model is available for gents and ladies: the B17 (gents) and B17 S (ladies). The Standard models feature black steel rails, the B17 Special features copper or chrome plated steel metalwork, and finally there is the B17 Titanium. Both the B17 Special and the Titanium also feature hand hammered copper rivets.

The Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and husband Daniel recently visited the Skeppshult factory to collect their pair of V‘s. As Brooks reports, they fitted Flyer saddles and the new Slender Brooks grips. As you probably know, the other Royal couple was given a Cycle Hire Tandem by Boris as wedding gift. Something tells me that it will probably collect dust in some stables; I hope to be proven wrong; in the meantime, here is a picture of Kate Middleton and bike:
