The Christiania tricycle is the young family’s best friend. With its capacious front box, fathers and mothers can take children to the playground, to school or on a leisure trip, as well as take the shopping home. Over the years, the tricycle has become faster, more practical and more elegant. The Light model is in alloy with a marine plywood box.

Here is a quick guide for choosing the options:
» Box shape and colour - The standard box has a lower (35cm) front, compared to the back (50cm). It can be fitted with one bench for two children. If you are planning to transport three or four children, you need the straight version, so that two benches can be fitted. The standard model has a black frame and the box is in natural marine plywood. You can select different colours for the box: Light Blue, Creamy White, Red, Black and Mustard Yellow

» Gears - If you live in a flat area, the three speed hub will be fine. If you live in a more hilly area, you will appreciate the wider range of the 7 or the 8 speed hub.
» Hood - The new Bugatti hood, although more expensive, allows more light inside and is more aerodynamic. If you select the straight box, the choice is restricted to the Prairie.
» Seats - There is a soft seat and a hard bench; the latter also acts as a lockable box to keep valuable objects.
