The Christiania Super Light is a faster alternative to the Light, with more street styling. With lighter wheels and and an aluminum frame the Racer is sure to get you round town in the greenest way possible.

All the options are the same as the Christiania Light but the Super Light only comes with a 8-speed derailler.

Here is a quick guide for choosing the options:

» Box shape and colour – The standard box has a lower (35cm) front, compared to the back (50cm). It can be fitted with one bench for two children. If you are planning to transport three or four children, you need the straight version, so that two benches can be fitted. The standard model has a black frame and the box is in natural marine plywood. You can select different colours for the box: Light Blue , Creamy White , Black , Apple Green and New Yellow.

» Hood – The new Bugatti hood , although more expensive, allows more light inside and is more aerodynamic. If you select the straight box, the choice is restricted to the Prairie hood .

» Seats – There is a soft seat and a hard bench ; the latter also acts as a lockable box to keep valuable objects. You can also fit additional side seats , which can be folded when not in use.

» Electric assist – A great help for those living in hilly areas, or for those who just need some additional assistance during all or part of their ride. It can be fully charged overnight, plugged into any outlet (there is a LED diode on the charging unit that starts red and goes green when fully charged), and is easy to take out and put back in to its docking space on the Christiania. The electric assist needs to be turned on at the battery area before being available for use. It can then be easily put into gear when necessary by a simple twist of the throttle, which is located on the left hand side by the front brake to offer that additional assistance while pedaling.

Soft seat and hard bench come with a lap belt for two children;  for children up to 2 years of age, additional Y-seat beltcan be added.
