The Model S/Box has been designed for the transport of wheelchair users.
It can also be used as a normal trike.

The front section of the box swings down to create a ramp for wheelchair access to the box. The front section is released by a foot-operated lever on the side of the box. Once the front section is down, a wheel chair can easily be pushed up and down the box. The front section is flexible and fastened by two rubber straps.

» Electric assist – A great help for those living in hilly areas, or for those who just need some additional assistance during all or part of their ride. It can be fully charged overnight, plugged into any outlet (there is a LED diode on the charging unit that starts red and goes green when fully charged), and is easy to take out and put back in to its docking space on the Christiania. The electric assist needs to be turned on at the battery area before being available for use. It can then be easily put into gear when necessary by a simple twist of the throttle, which is located on the left hand side by the front brake to offer that additional assistance while pedaling.
