Flow Saddle One of the products displayed at Stanford University’s “Cool Products Expo 2003″ was The Flow Saddle. The blurb says: “Why is Flow more comfortable? Because your weight is distributed around the entire perimeter of the saddle, rather than just a small circle of compressed foam or gel – an advanced, proprietary load dissipation mechanism that dramatically reduces hot spots.” It looks ‘cool’ but isn’t the perineum better protected if the saddle mainly supports the buttock bones?
