Kemper Filibus
Total:
£250.00

The Kemper Filibus is a speedy versatile cargo bike that can be fitted with child seats both on the front and the rear rack. With its everlasting frame, its long wheel base and an overall length of 1.95 meters is the Filibus an impressing vehicle. On a test ride one is surprised: The bicycle drives itself like a completely normal town bike or road bike; with the crucial difference that one can carry additional loads on the front rack up to 50 kilos and in the back up to 25 Kilos. A springy child seat can be installed in front in such a way the they will have a view of the road.

The Filibus comes with  a 7 speed Shimano hub gear system, Shimano rollerbrakes, Shimano hub Dynamo, 26″ rear and 20″ front wheels with Schwalbe Marathon tyres,  centre stand and frame lock.

A non refundable deposit of £250 will be taken for all on-line bike orders

The more commercially minded might have a couple of ladies’ models tucked away in a corner, maybe a kid’s bike [...]
Colourful model on vintage green roadster, originally shot by Gemma Booth for Amelia magazine. The FT reports that even though more people are commuting by bicycle, bike sales have not increased commensurably: Lincoln Romain, at Brixton Cycles in south London, said of the cycling boom: “It’s down to people fixing bikes that they have. For us, new bikes have not been going out [in sales] that much really.” For much of last Saturday at Brixton Cycles on Stockwell Road, south London, there was barely room [...]
When it comes to transporting kids, especially on the school run, there are various different options one can see on London streets. By far the simplest and most popular is the child seat, very simply but securely fitted onto the front stem or the rear rack of a bike.   The benefit to the cyclist is that the investment to hold the child is relatively low, with most better quality child seats ranging at around £100 or slightly more. Miriam, who has a BoBike Junior [...]
