Pashley Poppy
Total:
£450.00

Based on Pashley’s classic Princess frame, the Poppy has the familiar Sturmey Archer 3 speed transmission but a flatter handlebar with cork grips to provide a more contemporary look.

The most obvious change is the new colour palette. The Poppy is available in three sizes and in Blush Pink or Pastel Blue with a Brooks B67 saddle in Honey to top it off.

The frame is traditionally lugged and brazed and the fork tubular crown hand brazed. It has 26″ wheels with polished rims with cream tyres, Sturmey Archer hub brakes and alloy non slip pedals.

Ultimately the Pashley Poppy offers eye catching, elegant simplicity with a very attractive price.

The Pashley Poppy can fit a small wicker basket. Click here for more information.

Article by Diana Shaw Clark in the London Cyclist, the LCC magazine (picture on the right by Uruandimi): We all share the dream: A city so smitten with its cyclists that motorists are relegated to six centimetre car lanes, and bus companies permanently suspend their policy of selecting drivers for homicidal loathing of bikes and their riders. Well, wake up. It’s London. And while there’s been a substantial increase in the number of dedicated cyclists in the Capital, we have a long way to go [...]
Dress by Night Cap by Carisa Rene, hat by Y3, boots by Acne and bag by Mulberry. “Biking makes it surprisingly easy to do a full day in Chloë Sevigny’s Opening Ceremony heels,” she says with a laugh. “Walking in them tires me out!” Source
Reggie Nadelson in the Financial Times (How to Spend It, 07.06, page 61): My current object of desire is an Alex Moulton bike. One of the pretty red ones with the little wheels and the suspension system that looks like a Norman Foster bridge. Also, apparently, it snaps into two pieces and can then be slung into a stylish bag you can put in a luggage rack. I’m not sure if this bike is exactly right for riding around London and New York with a [...]
